Here are some suggestions for a New Year's English resolution:
Decide what you like to do in English - listening to songs, watching TV series or films, speaking to people, reading books, watching TED talks, reading English newspapers or magazines...and then do that once a week. Only do the things you enjoy, otherwise you won't do it. Remember, you're supposed to do this until the end of the year!

Songs I have lots of songs on this website with exercises and lyrics. Or you can choose a song you like, find the lyrics online and use your dictionary to check any words you don't know.
TV / films Choose a series or a film you want to watch and then watch it! Start with subtitles in your own language. When your English is better, you can change to English subtitles. And one day...no subtitles!
Books Choose a book you like, and don't start with a long book. Only look up one or two words per page. Otherwise you will be asleep after 1 page (a very good cure for insomnia.)
Speaking to people Find an English-language exchange or an English-speaking group or activity in your area. If you know someone Anglophone, don't be afraid to speak to them in English. Or use your CPF to take English lessons.

Newspapers Find a free online newspaper like the Guardian or if you're in France, you can try the Local, which has lots of French news in English. (The Local also exists in other countries, not just France.)
Most important of all....if you don't do any English practice for one week...or two weeks...or three weeks...or even two months...don't give up! Just start again and keep going. And you'll see, by the end of 2017, your English will be much better.
